MY DXTER
Designed the user experience and interface for My Dxter, a conceptual platform that helps children with chronic illnesses understand their diagnosis and build independence through interactive learning tools.
Developed a custom illustrative system to simplify complex medical concepts, using approachable visuals and playful character elements.
Who are the users?
Lucas was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at age two and is now eight. As he grows older, he's starting to ask many questions about his condition and is eager to take on more responsibility so he can spend more time with his friends.
Jenny is ten years old and has been recently diagnosed with Type I Diabetes. She is not quite sure what this new, scary diagnosis means for her.
Avery was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia when he was born and is now 6-years-old. He is about to start school so his mom wants him to understand what he has to do to stay safe as he goes out on his own.
